Shakespeare in the Port Auditions!!!!

Most of you are hooked into my other blog and social media channels but just in case you aren't here's a reminder that Shakespeare in the Port auditions are tonight and next Sunday!!!!

YEA!

Anybody can audition. No matter how tall, what age or what language you speak. We need tons of actors to be involved with the festival and BONUS you all get paid a stipend for your time.

Reservations for auditions are preferred. (That way we know you're coming...) But if not walk-ins are totes welcome. We also will have monologues on hand in case you don't have anything in your rep to pull out.  If you're out of town but still want to be involved with the festival we can arrange private auditions or you can submit your monologue via youtube!

Auditions for the first ever Shakespeare in the Port will be on January 5th and 6th at the Cyberport Podium.

On January 5th the auditions will be at 3pm-6pm.
On January 6th the auditions will be from 7pm-9pm.

Julius Caeser is a dance integrated production. Dress to move as there will be a short dance element to auditions.

Performance Dates of the Festival are: April 17th-May 4th, 2014.

All performances are at the Cyberport Podium. Weekday performances (Tuesday-Friday) are at 7:30pm. Weekend performances are at 11am, 3pm and 7:30pm.

Festival is dark on Mondays. Free events will be taking place on these days.

Performances are in a rep rotation so everyone has an equal balance of evening and matinee performances. All actors and technicians that work on these productions will receive a stipend for the time.

Shakespeare in the Port is also in need of designers and technicians for the festival. These are paid positions. Send your resumes to meaghan@hongkongshakes.com
