The Italy Quality and Lifestyle festival present's Dario Fo's
We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! this week! Dario Fo is a Nobel prize winning author from Italy whose work is highly praised for using the clown to highlight human rights and political issues in our modern times. In the case of this play he is talking about hunger issues and the rights of the common man. What's to happen to our society when we we're working really hard but we can still not afford to pay our rent, bills and feed ourselves? Are we to take the matters into our own hands and fend for ourselves or are we to allow the government to take care of us and reform the situation that is broken?

Fo's political views are always some what controversial. He is very liberal to the point of being a socialist and he does not shy away from shouting his views from the roof top. He loves the proletariat and often makes him the star of his work and the unsung hero who is struggling to make his way in the world.
